White-Washing?! REALLY?

That's it! I've had it up to here!

People on tumblr (and some on DA too) are whining and complaining about Hiro and Tadashi from Big Hero Six are 'white-washed.'

Alright, let me explain something to you guys.

White washing is the recently released movie about Moses. 

Have any of you people actually SEEN a Japanese American? Have you seen a Japanese person period? NO YOU HAVEN'T.

My friend (who is Korean by the way) who has seen many other Asians in her lifetime, has claimed when she first saw the trailer for BH6 she thought he looked Japanese or even Eastern-Asian in general. I've seen some pretty pale Asians (without makeup mind you) and not all of them have narrow eyes, especially if they're only half East Asian.

Let me tell you a story about genetics okay? My grandmother is full-Mexican, with dark skin to boot. She married a white man. My mother is paler than the moon, and so are her siblings. Doesn't that tell you something?

My goodness why is it everyone judges a movie BEFORE IT COMES OUT? Or even better, aren't even talking about the positives that BH6 is bringing in, like diversity? I know they made some unnecessary changes but MUST we focus on that crap ALL THE TIME? Sheesh guys, give it a rest. It's getting very annoying.
